Some platforms (Etsy, Redbubble, Spreadshirt) have the ability to support multiple languages for the title, tags, and descriptions of your designs. OrbitKit supports this.

For each of your designs, you may edit alternate languages on the design edit page. Alternate languages are only submitted to platforms if title, description, and tags are all present.

See the Redbubble and Spreadshirt integration notes for specific information about multiple language support on those platforms.

Controlling language in the UI

You can change the "current working language" using a dropdown in the top right corner:

If you change the language to (for example) Deutsch, OrbitKit will display German titles/tags/descriptions for your designs and text in the search bar will search the German titles/tags/descriptions.

This setting only affects your UI and does not affect publishing.

Automatic Translation

Though some marketplaces will automatically translate your text for you, it's better to maintain translations in OrbitKit. You have the option of hand-editing them, and your translations can be used on other platforms that do not automatically translate.

OrbitKit can automatically translate the titles, descriptions, and tags of your designs using DeepL. If you want to translate one design:

If you want to translate multiple designs at once, you can perform a bulk operation:

You can pick whether to overwrite old text or only translate to "empty" languages. Note that bulk translations may take a while, especially if you queue up thousands of designs.
